Azhimala Shiva temple

The Aazhimala Shiva Temple is a Hindu temple located on the coast of the Arabian Sea. Dedicated to Shiva, the temple is known for the 18-meter (58-feet) tall Gangadhareshwara sculpture, which is the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala.

The Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple

'Bhadra' means good and 'Kali' means goddess of time. So Bhadrakali is often referred as the goddess of prosperity, time and salvation.

Chenkal Shiva Parvati Temple

Kerala now has the tallest Shiva lingam in the country after the India Book of Records certified the 111.2-feet structure of Maheshwaram Sri Shiva Parvathy Temple. The cylindrical structure has eight floors, six of which represent chakras or energy centres of the human body. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to be one of the oldest Shiva temples in the region, with a history dating back over 2000 years.

Suchindram Temple

1200 years old Temple and 200 years construction.Temple is Dedicated to three different deities represented by one image in the sanctum and is called Sthanumalayan (Sthanu - Shiva; Maal-Vishnu and Ayan-Brahma) kovil. The temple is rich in sculpture and architecture and a visitor to this temple is amply rewarded with the sight of such exquisite art of hundreds of years old. There is an Anjaneya, (or HANUMAN), statue which stands at 22 feet (6.7 m) and is carved of a single granite block.

Jatayu Earth Centre

Jatayu earth centre is also known as Jatayu Nature Park or Jatayu Rock, is a park and tourism centre at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district of Kerala, India.According to the Hindu Mithology, it is believed that Jatayu fell on the rocks in Chadayamangalam in Kerala after his wings were cut off by Ravana while abducting Sita. After narrating the incident of Sita's abduction to Sri Rama and Lakshmana, the wounded Jatayu died. Sri Rama then performed the final funeral rites of Jatayu on this place

Horse Palace

Kuthiramalika Palace is one of the architectural wonders in the vast complex of royal buildings situated near the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Built by Sri Swathi Thirunal, Kuthiramalika or Puthenmalika is named after the 122 horsesthat are carved into the wooden wall brackets that support the southern roof. It is a perfect example of the traditional Kerala style of architecture, and impresses visitors with its intricate carvings, huge pillars and traditional style of flooring. Napier Museum

Built in the 19th century, Kerala's rich cultural heritage is on display at the museum. It contains a host of historical artifacts including bronze idols, ancient mammals, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. The museum has been named after the former Madras Governor-General John Napier.

The art gallery has on display works from the Mughal, Rajput, Bengal, Rajastani, and Tanjore schools of art. The Sivagiri Matt

Sivagiri matt built in 1904, is atop the Sivagiri hill in Varkala Town. The Guru Deva Jayanti, the birthday of the Guru, and the samadhi day are celebrated in August and September respectively every year. At first, an elementary school was established there.
